Sarat Ajibola Oduyebo (Mrs.)
Mrs. Sarat Ajibola Oduyepo was born on the 27th August 1959 in Imota in the Ikorodu Local government area of Lagos State. She began her primary education at St John’s Primary School, Imota between 1966 and 1971. She then proceeded to Imota Community Grammar School between 1972 and 1975, the Protestant Teacher Training College, Idi Araba, Surulere between 1977 and 1979, and the Lagos State College of Education, Otto-Ijanikin between 1986 and 1989. She thereafter went to the University of Ibadan for both her Bachelor degree in Education in 1998 and the Masters degree in 2004.
She was started her civil service career in 1979 when she was appointed as a pupil teacher. Since her appointment, she has worked with various agencies including the Teaching Service Pensions Office and the defunct PPTESCOM among others from where she was promoted to the post of Mater Grade II. In 2001, she was converted from Assistant Education Officer’s Cadre to Education Cadre and was later promoted to the post of Chief Education Officer in 2003, Assistant Director of Education in 2006 and Deputy Director of Education in 2010.
Mrs. Sarat Ajibola Odeyepo is blessed with children.
